Terms & Conditions

The rules for using CliniqQ. By booking a visit, signing in, or managing a clinic through this service, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 27 July 2026

1. Who we are and the three parties

CliniqQ is a software platform that lets clinics and independent (“solo”) doctors manage their appointment queue, and lets patients book visits, track their token in real time, join video consultations, and view prescriptions and reviews. Every booking involves three separate parties: (a) the patient, (b) the independent clinic or solo doctor who provides the medical care, and (c) CliniqQ, the technology platform that connects the two. CliniqQ provides the technology only — it is not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare provider, and it does not practise medicine.

2. No doctor–patient relationship with CliniqQ

Medical care, advice, diagnosis, and prescriptions come solely from the independent doctor and clinic you book with, not from CliniqQ. Your doctor–patient relationship is with that clinic. CliniqQ is not responsible for the quality, safety, timing, or outcome of any consultation or treatment.

3. Not for emergencies

CliniqQ is for scheduling and non-urgent consultations only. It is not a substitute for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately — do not wait for a booking or a reply.

4. Booking, tokens & wait times

Booking a token requests a place in a clinic's queue; it does not guarantee a fixed time. Queue positions, “patients before you”, average consultation time, and expected wait are estimates that update in real time and can change (for example when emergencies are triaged ahead). Clinics may reschedule, delay, or cancel visits. Please provide accurate details and cancel early if you cannot attend.

5. Booking fee — what you are paying for

Booking a visit through CliniqQ carries a booking fee of ₹20 (inclusive of 18% GST), charged by the platform — CliniqQ, operated by Jamshedpur Innovations Private Limited (JIPL). This is a platform / convenience fee for the technology service of generating and confirming your queue token and holding your place in the clinic's schedule. It is not a consultation fee, a doctor's fee, or payment for any medical service — the clinic sets and collects those separately and directly from you. This booking service is delivered, and the fee is earned, at the moment your token is generated and shown to you.

6. Refunds & cancellations

Because the booking fee pays for a service that is completed the instant your token is generated, it is non-refundable once your token is created — including if you later cancel, do not attend, arrive late, or choose not to go ahead with the consultation.

The only exception: if the platform is unable to place your booking after charging you — for example a genuine technical failure, or the slot no longer exists — the full ₹20 is refunded to your original payment method.

If your doctor or clinic is running late, reschedules, or is unavailable on the day, your booking is honoured by the clinic through a new slot or an alternative arrangement — see the next section. The already-paid booking fee is not separately refunded by CliniqQ in that case, because CliniqQ's booking service was delivered; anything about the consultation itself is handled by the clinic.

7. Doctor availability is the clinic's responsibility

Each clinic or solo doctor controls their own schedule and decides which slots to open on CliniqQ. When a clinic opens a slot and accepts your booking, the clinic — not CliniqQ — is responsible for the doctor's availability, punctuality, and for honouring or rescheduling that appointment. If a doctor is unavailable, delayed, or the visit is cancelled, your remedy (a fresh token, a later slot, another doctor at the clinic, or any refund of the clinic's own consultation charges) is provided by the clinic directly. CliniqQ only facilitates the booking and is not liable for a clinic's or doctor's availability or conduct.

8. Video consultations (telemedicine)

Where a clinic offers video consultations, they are provided by the doctor under India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. A doctor may decline a video consultation and ask you to attend in person where clinically appropriate. You are responsible for a suitable device, network, and a private setting. CliniqQ does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity and is not liable for call quality issues.

9. Prescriptions

Any prescription is issued at the treating doctor's discretion and clinical judgement. CliniqQ only displays and stores what the doctor records; it does not create, alter, verify, or dispense medication. Always follow the dosage and directions given by your doctor or pharmacist.

10. Accounts & clinic staff

Staff accounts (doctor, reception, admin) are for the registered clinic's authorised users only. Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share them. You are responsible for activity under your account. Clinic admins are responsible for the accuracy of their clinic profile, doctors, schedules, and for the lawful handling of patient data they access through the platform.

11. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no fake or abusive bookings, no attempts to access data of clinics or patients you are not authorised for, no scraping, reverse engineering, overloading, or interfering with the platform, and no uploading of unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

12. Reviews

Reviews you submit must be genuine, based on your own experience, and free of abusive, defamatory, or personal-health-revealing content about others. You grant CliniqQ and the clinic the right to display your review. We may remove reviews that violate these terms.

13. Privacy

Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Notice, which is aligned with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using CliniqQ you consent to that processing.

14. Intellectual property

The CliniqQ platform, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to CliniqQ and its licensors. Your clinic's content and a patient's own records remain theirs. Nothing here transfers ownership of the platform to you.

15. Service availability

We aim to keep CliniqQ available but provide it “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, or perform maintenance, with reasonable notice where practical.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CliniqQ is not liable for any medical outcome, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. CliniqQ's technology is a tool to assist clinics and patients; clinical decisions and their consequences rest with the treating clinic and doctor. In any event, CliniqQ's total liability to a patient for anything connected with a booking is limited to the booking fee actually paid for that booking.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CliniqQ against claims arising from your misuse of the platform or your breach of these terms or of applicable law. Clinics and doctors are responsible for their own availability and the care they provide, and agree to indemnify CliniqQ against patient claims arising from a doctor's unavailability, delay, cancellation, or the conduct or outcome of a consultation.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the clinic's jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

20. Grievance & contact

For a grievance about a booking or the platform, contact CliniqQ's Grievance Officer at grievance@cliniqq.com; we aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within the timelines required by law. For anything about a specific visit, prescription, doctor availability, or consultation, contact the clinic's reception directly — those matters are handled by the clinic.
